The stealthy Hideaway rides low to the ground and light in your pack. While compact, it is feature-rich with a TPU window, mesh inner door, and vented headspace. A rapid set-up time and small footprint means that this shelter beats most single-person tents for ease and range of use. Pitches using a single shock-cord pole and 5 stakes; stuff sack included.

WATERPROOF
With a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm, the Hideaway can repel 5-times more hydrostatic pressure than the average tent fly.

COMPACT
The efficient single-wall design and limited hardware permits the Hideaway to compress into a highly portable package.

EASY SET-UP
Site selection is simple due to the Hideaway's small footprint. It can be fully prepped to receive the weary adventurer after 2 minutes of straightforward set-up.

Home away from home

I purchased this item to be my shelter for my thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. As for the many shelters i had to choose from I selected this one because of it's light weight, compact storage, ease of set up and it's excellent waterproofing ability.

not bad, but wish I spent a little more on a REI bivvy

it is not at all bad, but I wished I would have spent a little more on a REI Bivvy. It is very roomy, but that come at the price of bulk. It packes up to not much smaller or lighter than my Kelty 1 person tent. The bug screen part is very nice. I also wished it was a bit tamer color.....its basically hunter orange.I'll probably trade it with one of my buddies for something down the line.

Spend The Extra Money

I used this Bivy for an overnight trip at about 9,000 it was in the mid 30’s – 40’s and the amount of condensation was horrible! I opened the top and that just created an evaporative cooling effect. I had to get out of this bivy to warm up. It was easy to setup and there was plenty of room but the condensation made it miserable.

Nice Bivy

I didn't buy this for me but for a friend. He liked the bivy quite well, good construction and quality for sure. Quite a bit of condensation in the foot box in the morning but he is a foot sweater. He likes the fact that it opens half way down and it is very spacious for a one man shelter, he hates confined spaces but found this bivy big enough. Haven't tried it zipped totally up yet but so far it is a good product.

Great tent.

Great tent. Very easy to set up. Compact enough to take hiking.
